This week the Thinking in English Community is talking about history!
In my recent episode on the History of Istanbul, I explored how the past can shape a city’s culture, identity, and even daily life today.
History is not just about remembering dates and events. It’s also about understanding people, choices, and the way our world has been built over time.
In this week’s Conversation Club, we’ll share our opinions about historical figures, inventions, and the way history is taught. It’s also a great chance to practice using the past tense in English while talking about events and people from history.
Here are 10 conversation questions to get you talking about history this week!
The Thinking in English Conversation Club takes place every TUESDAY and THURSDAY at 12pm, 6pm, and midnight UK time!
