This week in the Thinking in English Conversation Club we are exploring collocations with the word “create”!
If you listened to my recent bonus episode “Can Artificial Intelligence Be Creative?: Collocations with ‘Create’” you’ll already know how useful collocations are. A collocation is when two or more words naturally go together in English.
For example, we say “create an opportunity” or “create a problem”, but not usually “make an opportunity”. Learning collocations will help you sound more natural, fluent, and confident when you speak.
In this session, we’ll practice using common collocations with create in real conversation. From creating an impression to creating opportunities, you’ll get the chance to share your ideas and hear how other learners use English creatively!
Here are 10 conversation questions to help guide your discussion this week!
The Thinking in English Conversation Club takes place every TUESDAY and THURSDAY at 12pm, 6pm, and midnight UK time!
You can find more details on how to participate here – Patreon!
