Can Artificial Intelligence Be Creative?: Collocations with ‘Create’ (Bonus Episode)

Can artificial intelligence (or AI) be creative?

We often hear that AI is powerful. It can answer questions, write essays, make music and art. But is that real creativity? Or is it just copying and repeating what humans have already done?

In this episode, I’ll explore this topic, and while we do, I’ll teach you some useful academic collocations that use the word “create.” I have taken all these collocations from the academic word list, meaning they are very common in formal writing, exams, and university-level English.

Here are the phrases we’ll learn today:
create an environment, create an impression, create an opportunity, create conditions, create opportunities, create problems, newly created, creative process, creative thinking, and creative work.

I’ll use the collocations naturally while discussing AI and creativity, and then at the end of the episode I will provide a vocabulary list with definitions and more examples.
