Welcome to a pilot episode for a completely new style of episode, maybe even an entirely new podcast, that I am considering making later this year. I want your honest feedback on this style of episode, how it could be improved, and whether or not it is useful!

If you had the opportunity to change your career right now, what would you do? If you had the qualifications or skills, which job would you be interested in trying out? If you were financially stable, would you start your own business?
Today, I want to talk about the possibility of changing careers and jobs and talk about these kinds of hypothetical situations! At the same time, let’s practice or learn how to use the second conditional grammar in a real-life situation.

Dreaming of Changing Careers
Thank you everyone for listening to this pilot episode of a new series, or new podcast, aiming at introducing grammar to a wider audience.
My plan is to produce more of these episodes and develop an accompanying worksheet or study pack with different study activities to help you practice English.
The idea is to make these episodes available early on Patreon, and then publish publicly a few days later. And the study packs will be free for Patreon members and available to buy for non-members.
In the study pack, there will be a transcript with grammar explanation, a vocabulary list, and some different exercises to help you study!

Tom it’s a brilliant. The idea of grammar podcast is so cool. If you have plan to mix grammar and interesting stories it will be like honey on my ears. Great job, you can congrats yourself. Regarding to questions:
If you had the opportunity to change jobs today, what would you do?
– I wouldn’t decide to change job. First of all, I have good job but second I have 3 kids and I can’t take risks to change job on some I don’t really know. The place where I’m right now, maybe isn’t perfect but I got used to work here and I know people, they know me.
If you won the lottery, what would you buy?
– I would like to realize my wife dreams and I would buy a house with beauty garden and playground for kids. Rest of the money I would share with family and friends in need.
If you worked hard, what would you achieve?
– If I worked hard, I would achieve worse pain in spine and more problems with health : ). I’m just joking. Probably I would achieve better position in wind industry and gain more experience at work. But anyway I’m happy and proud what I’ve already achieved so it’s cool that I went trough zero to hero particularly in English learning.
