Is it ever right to help someone die? I think this is one of the most difficult and emotional questions we can ask, but more and more countries around the world are starting to allow people to make this choice.
And now, the UK has also taken a historic step toward legalising assisted dying.
But what does that actually mean? Who would be allowed to choose assisted death? And why is this issue so controversial?
In today’s episode, I’m going to explain what the UK’s new assisted dying bill says and what it could mean for the future. I’ll look at how this compares to laws in other countries, and I’ll explore the arguments for and against assisted dying.
Whether you agree with the idea or not, this is a topic that raises deep questions and will definitely challenge you to think in English.
