I’m sure you all know there are differences between the dialects and accents of English across the world. One way this manifests itself is in different vocabularies in different countries.
For this bonus episode, I’ve selected around 10 British terms to explain and introduce. Importantly, these are terms that I would, have, and often do use in my own English. I don’t want to introduce terms that I wouldn’t personally use… so I’m not going to!
Hopefully, after listening to this episode, you’ll be able to understand and use a whole bunch of new vocabulary. This should help you understand British media and have conversations with British people in the future.
