This episode explores the origins of the world’s favourite caffeinated drink, from its discovery in Ethiopia to its role in shaping cultures and economies worldwide. Plus, it’s packed with vocabulary related to history, trade, and coffee culture.

I discussed the definition of thinking, talked about whether you need language to think, considered whether thinking in English (or any language) is possible for people without a “voice in their head”, and ended with a discussion on how you can start thinking in English and whether you actually should!
It was definitely one of my favourite episodes to record this year.
