Thinking in English Conversation Club BannerThinking in English Conversation Club!

This week the Thinking in English Community is talking about Words of the Year 2025!

Every year, dictionaries like Collins choose words that reflect the events, trends, and ideas that shaped the year. In my recent episodes, I explored the Collins Words of the Year 2025 and discussed what these words tell us about society, technology, and culture.

Do you have a personal Word of the Year? Or maybe one of the new 2025 words like Vibe Coding, Micro-Retirement, or Broligarchy speaks to your life? This is your chance to share, debate, and explore these words with other learners.

Here are 10 conversation questions to get you talking about Words of the Year 2025!

The Thinking in English Conversation Club takes place every TUESDAY and THURSDAY at 12pm, 6pm, and 23pm UK time!

You can find more details on how to participate here – Patreon!
