Are you more of an introvert or an extrovert? Do you enjoy routines, or do you prefer trying new things? How does your personality affect the way you learn English?
These are just some of the questions we’ll discuss in this week’s conversation club, inspired by my recent bonus episode, Introverts, Extroverts, and English Learning.
Here are 10 conversation questions to get you talking about your personality, how it shapes your life, and how it connects to learning English!
The Thinking in English Conversation Club takes place every TUESDAY and THURSDAY at 12pm, 6pm, and 23pm UK time!

- Are you more of an introvert or an extrovert?
- Do you like meeting new people?
- Do you like trying new things, or do you prefer routines?
- Do you enjoy planning things or being spontaneous?
- Do you prefer working alone or in a team?
- How do you motivate yourself when you feel lazy or tired?
- Do you think your personality affects how you learn English? How?
- Can personality change over time? Have you noticed changes in yourself?
- Do you think people can be a mix of introvert and extrovert? How?

Vocabulary
- introvert (n/adj): a person who prefers spending time alone or in small groups rather than in large social situations
- extrovert (n/adj): a person who enjoys being with others and feels energized by social interactions.
- routine (n): a regular or fixed way of doing things.
- spontaneous (adj): acting naturally or without planning in advance.
- motivate (v): to give yourself or someone else a reason or energy to do something.
- lazy (adj): not willing to work or use effort.
- personality (n): the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual’s character.
- affect (v): to have an influence on something or someone.
- change over time (phrase): to become different as time passes.
- mix (n): a combination of different types, such as personality traits.
