The Black Friday offer is live right now (until next Tuesday I think)! I don’t normally offer refunds unless there are exceptional circumstances (for example, I refunded some Turkish members after Discord was banned in their country).
If you are unsure, I’d recommend joining for 1 month and seeing if you find value in my episodes or conversation clubs. The best deal, though, is joining for a whole year. You can check my website for more information – I now have FAQs about Patreon and Conversation Clubs on the website menu.

Dear Tom,
When I sent the previous email, I thought I could only join after Jan. 1,2026; but seems I can join in the community as soon as I pay now? So that means no need to wait till 2026 to decide whether it\’s suitable for me or not.
So then, still would like to know whether you have any refund policy, say 1 month or something like that?

Just realized your reply is here instead of the email, no wonder I still didn’t get any reply email…
I’d like to check for Discord. Is this the app. that everyone in the community will use? So I can’t use it in my country, that means I will lose the opportunities to connect with the other patreon members?

Ah, if you are from a country like China, Turkey, Russia etc it may mean you can’t use Discord. Discord is the platform where we host our conversation clubs, so you may not be able to attend those sessions. I’m very sorry about that!
