As a European, and a British person, I have become acutely aware that I am biased in many of my perspectives and ideas. It is natural. I grew up in the UK and studied in the European academic traditions… so I studied subjects and topics that mainly focused on the Europe.
But Europe has not always been a centre of academic excellence and study. In fact, while Europe was stuck in the Dark Ages, the Muslim world was making massive developments in science, mathematics, and medicine during a period now known as the Islamic Golden Age.
