Could you really buy a lion in a London department store?
In the 1960s, the answer was yes. Harrods, one of the most famous luxury stores in the world, once sold exotic animals including lions. One of them was Christian, a lion cub bought by two young men living in London. What followed became one of the most extraordinary animal stories ever recorded.
