Why Take English Classes?

Anyone who has ever attempted to learn a language knows that it takes time, effort, patience and a lot of practice.

I personally have tried almost every method in my journey to become a highly proficient Japanese speaker. Over the past 8 years I have used over 20 different textbooks from general grammar books to niche books of Japanese onomatopoeia, currently have four different language learning apps on my phone, and attended many language exchange events.

I have also taken a lot of Japanese classes.

I started with group classes in a community centre in 2016, then also took a private class once a week from 2017. I moved to London in 2018 and enrolled in Japanese evening classes at SOAS University of London.

After a short break during Covid, I started taking classes again in Tokyo, including university Japanese classes on public speaking, debating, and conversations.

And now I take a private class every Friday morning.
