This week, the Thinking in English Community is discussing history in our conversation clubs!
History helps us understand how the world has changed over time and why societies are the way they are today. From famous people and major events to everyday life in the past, history gives us stories, lessons, and different perspectives on the present.
Talking about history is also a great way to practise using past tenses, describing events, and sharing opinions about important topics. It encourages us to compare countries, question what we learn, and think about whether the past still influences our lives today.
Here are 10 conversation questions to get you talking about history, the past, and what we can learn from it!
The Thinking in English Conversation Club takes place every TUESDAY and THURSDAY at 12pm, 6pm, and 24pm UK time!
You can find more details on how to participate here!
