This week the ‘Thinking in English’ Community is talking about football and the World Cup!
Football is the world’s most popular sport, and has a unique ability to create excitement, spark conversations, and connect people from different cultures.
In this conversation club, we’ll discuss our favourite sports, football culture, passionate fans, and the global impact of the World Cup. Why is football so popular? What makes international tournaments so special? And can sport really bring countries closer together?
This is a great opportunity to practice sharing opinions, talking about hobbies and culture, and discussing one of the world’s biggest sporting events in English.
Here are 10 conversation questions to get you talking about football and the World Cup!
