Earlier this week I released a main Thinking in English episode on the new Olympic sport of “breaking.” In researching and writing that episode, it made me really curious to explore how Olympic sports have developed and changed over the years.
Today, we will discuss the history of the Olympics, from the games of Ancient Greece to the weird sports of the early 20th century, to recent and modern disciplines, and the future of Olympic sport!
