This week, the Thinking in English Community is talking about time in our conversation clubs, with a special focus on prepositions of time: in, on, and at.
Talking about daily routines, special dates, plans, and life changes gives us a natural way to practise using prepositions of time correctly. These small words are very common in English, but they can be tricky, so using them in real conversation is one of the best ways to build confidence and accuracy.
This conversation club is inspired by recent Thinking in English grammar episodes, including Does History Repeat Itself? and Should We Work Until We’re 75?, as well as the Grammar Study Pack on Prepositions of Time and Place.
Here are 10 conversation questions to get you talking about time, routines, plans, and life changes in English!
The Thinking in English Conversation Club takes place every TUESDAY and THURSDAY at 12pm, 6pm, and 23pm UK time!
You can find more details on how to participate here!
