February is all about deepening your English skills while speaking more confidently. This monthโ€™s Conversation Clubs combine practical grammar, global topics, and thought-provoking discussions, giving you plenty of chances to use real English in meaningful conversations.

As always, every session is prepared with discussion questions, vocabulary support, and example answers, so you never feel lost or unprepared.

Below is everything you need to know about February 2026โ€™s Conversation Club topics, dates, and how to join.

February Conversation Club Topics

Each week, we focus on a different theme designed to encourage natural conversation, opinion sharing, and real-life English use. As always, Iโ€™ll prepare discussion questions, useful vocabulary, and example answers before each session.

A schedule for the Thinking in English Podcast's Conversation Club for February 2026, detailing various topics and meeting times.
February Conversation Club Schedule!

Week 1: Prepositions of Time

Tuesday & Thursday: February 3 & 5

We start February with a practical but conversation-focused grammar topic: prepositions of time. Weโ€™ll practise:

  • in, on, at in real conversation
  • Talking about routines, schedules, and life events
  • Explaining past experiences and future plans clearly

This session is perfect if you understand the rules but want to use them naturally when speaking.

Week 2: Billionaires & The Rich

Tuesday & Thursday: February 10 & 12

This week, weโ€™ll tackle a big and sometimes controversial topic:

  • Should billionaires exist?
  • Is extreme wealth fair?
  • Does money bring happiness or responsibility?

Youโ€™ll practise expressing opinions, agreeing and disagreeing politely, and supporting your ideas. These are essential skills for real-life English conversations.

Week 3: Artificial Intelligence

Tuesday & Thursday: January 17 & 19

Artificial Intelligence is changing the world…. but how do we feel about it? Discussion topics include:

  • How AI affects work and education
  • Benefits vs risks of new technology
  • Whether AI will help or harm society

A great session for practising modern vocabulary, speculation, and cause-and-effect language.

Week 4: Prepositions of Place

Tuesday & Thursday: February 24 & 26

We finish February with another practical grammar-based topic: prepositions of place. Weโ€™ll focus on:

  • in, on, at, near, between, and more
  • Describing where things are clearly
  • Giving directions and explaining locations

Like all grammar-focused clubs, this session is conversation-first, helping you turn grammar knowledge into confident speech.

Conversation Club Times (UK Time)

All Conversation Clubs run at the same weekly times:

Tuesdays & Thursdays

  • 12:00 UK time
  • 18:00 UK time
  • 23:00 UK time

You can join one session or all six each week, depending on your schedule and goals.

Each session lasts around 60 minutes and takes place in small groups of 3โ€“4 learners, supported by trained English tutors (and me!).
