This week the ‘Thinking in English’ Community talking about animal conservation!

In many parts of the world you can find many endangered animals and plants. Some of the most biodiverse and interesting wildernesses are in danger of disappearing.

People travel all over the world to see wildlife and both governments and charities spend millions on conservation. However, sometimes there can be too many animals!

Here are 10 conversation questions to get you talking about animal conservation!

Conversation Questions: How Important is Animal Conservation?

1. Have you ever seen an endangered animal? Describe the animal you saw.

2. Is animal conservation a significant topic in your country?

3. Why do many people object to big game hunting?

4. Have you ever experienced wildlife tourism?

5. What actions is your government taking to protect wildlife?

6. What are the benefits of hunting?

7. How can people raise more awareness for wildlife conservation?

8. Does your country have any problems with animal overpopulation?

9. Would you ever kill a wild animal?
